Renthal Handlebar Fitting Instructions
It is
very very important when fitting the handlebars that any sharp edges are removed from the handlebar fitting clamps where they come in contact with the handlebar (see illustrations). Failure to remove these sharp edges could lead to a fatigue failure.

It is also important when the handlebar is fitted and the handlebar fitting bolts are fully tightened that there is a gap showing between the clamps at both the front and the rear (see illustration).

To ensure that the handlebars are fitted centrally to the triple top clamps, two parallel aligning rings are pressed into the metal of the handlebar. Line these up with an equal gap between the rings and the handlebar fitting clamps (see illustration).
