PRM Products Raptor Side Bars
When we
heard that PRM Products was going to manufacture Side Bars
for the Raptor, we couldn't wait to check them out!
PRM's Side
Bars are made from 6061-T6 aircraft quality aluminum, and
as usual the craftsmanship we have come to expect from PRM
is second to none in the industry.
Installation
Instructions
1.Remove
the stock heal guards.
2.Remove
the front motor mounts completely, the new PRM Side Bars
will be the new mounts.
3.Throw
those weak stockers in the trash! You wont need them
anymore.
4.Now
install the PRM Side Bars starting with the front motor
mounts first. Note: In the
picture above you can see why the stock mounts aren't
used.
5.Once
step 4 is completed line up the heal end of the Side Bars
with the factory holes in the frame and tighten. Now
install the bolts in the foot pegs and your done!
PRM has a
outstanding product, the craftsmanship is second to none
in the industry. However we did find one small problem
with the design. They simply aren't wide enough if your
running extended A- Arms or axel.
