Quick Change Clutch Cover Installation Instructions

1) Drain the oil from the bike and Remove the oil lines and the oil filter.

NOTE: Save the stock oil line sleeves you will reuse them.

2) Remove the stock cover by breaking the cover loose with a large screw driver on the back tab of the cover.

3) Once the cover is off you need to remove the stock actuator and all of the dowels from your stock cover.
You will not need to reuse the seals or the bearings, you will not need to reuse the stock cable holder either.

4) Scrape the old gaskets off of the case, making sure that the surface is free from all foreign objects and do not let any debris into the motor. Replace the old gasket with a new one.

5) Install the stock dowel pins into the motor.

6) Take off the removable portion of the Hinson cover to make installation easier, and install your stock actuator into the removable portion of the Hinson cover.

7) Install the side case cover using the stock bolts as well as the new ones supplied with the cover. Install the new removable cover using the bolts supplied with the kit while making sure that the actuator is engaged into the actuator pin.

NOTE: Use grease on the actuator pin to hold it in place during the cover installation.

NOTE: The bolts are color coded 6X70mm (Black), 6X65mm (Yellow), 6X25mm (Red), 6X16mm (Orange), 6X30mm 6. mm (Green), 6X45mm (Blue). See above for correct bolt locations.

Reinstall your oil lines, oil filter, and oil filter cover, then put new oil in the bike.
