Where to ride in Arizona
Cinder Hills ATV Area
Near Flagstaff, it is a 13,500 acre OHV area. There is both open riding and miles of single track trails.Camping
is allowed but there are no facilities .
To get to the Cinder Hills OHV Area, take U.S. Highway 89 north from Flagstaff. Approximately
3/4 mile past milepost 426 turn east on Forest Service Road 776 and follow the signs. More information on the Cinder

Ehrenberg Sandbowl OHV Area
A popular site for use of off road vehicles, with hilly, sandy
terrain and a network of roads and trails. This site provides a starting point for visitors to explore a variety
of designated roads and trails. Dispersed camping is available nearby. Use is limited to day use only, 6 am to
10 pm. Current fire restrictions limit fires to charcoal grills or propane stoves. No trash collection on site.
Pack it in and pack it out. Please tread lightly.
Use I-10 to Ehrenberg, AZ. Take Ehrenberg exit to South Frontage
Road. Go West on frontage road approximately one mile. Turn left on gravel surfaced Ehrenberg/Cibola Road. Go south
3 miles to site entrance.The fee is $5 daily per vehicle or $50 annually per vehicle, for up to 5 people per vehicle.
There will be a $1 per person fee charged for each person over the 5 person limit. Visitors must pay daily fees
at self-registration fee pipes located at the site or at the BLM Yuma Field Office located at 2555 E. Gila Ridge
Road in Yuma. Annual permits are currently available for purchase at the Yuma Field Office.
Hayfield Draw OHV Area
Near Cottonwood, provides a "tot lot" for beginners, a motocross track, 40 acres of open riding and over
120 miles of trails with the longest trail being fifty miles. The staging area is south of U.S. Highway 260, approximately
5 1/2 miles west of I-17.

Hot Well Dunes Recreation Area
This 2,000 acre area of rolling sand dunes offers an open riding area for OHV's. There are low, sparsely vegetated
dunes for those preferring a slower paced ride, while several larger dunes provide challenges for the more adventurous
riders. The area gets it's name from an artisan well that produces 250 gallons of hot water per minute. Facilities
include developed campsites, toilets, fire grills, and of course, hot tubs. From Safford, travel 7 miles east on
Highway 70 and turn south on Haekel Road. Hot Wells is 25 miles.A use fee of $3.00 per vehicle per day or annual
permit for $30.00 is required. The permit and fee is not required for licensed or unlicensed vehicle(s) in tow.

Sycamore Creek OHV Area, Arizona
Sycamore creek and its neighboring off-road trail system, the Four Peak Rolls,
are the best recreational rides in Arizona. Located just three miles apart, the two trail systems combine to form
a 100 plus mile loop.
Sycamore Creek has a variety of terrain like sandwash areas, mountains, creek
beds, rivers two-track Jeep/ATV roads, cliffs and canyons. It offers the rider splendid views in every direction,
like Superstition Mountain, Four Peaks Mountain and Weaver's Needle. It's divided into upper (Sugarloaf Mountain
Area) and lower Sycamore Creek. Another plus is the abundance of wildlife. Four Peak Rolls is about 75 miles long.
It is full of canyons, steep cliffs and mountainous areas. It has radical riding areas and many scenic routes as
well.
If you plan to bring your quad, make certain your muffler has a built-in spark
arrestor.
